Our signs are main powered and come with a 1.5m transparent cord that plugs into an AC/DC adaptor. This has an additional 2.75m of black cable that plugs into a mains socket. All customers receive a standard UK 12V power plug as standard and remote/dimmers can be purchased separately at a cost of £20.00. Here is a diagram of how everything is plugged in: Installation is very simple and doesn't require an electrician (unless you have additional requirements).

Our signs have pre-drilled holes on the acrylic backboard ready for you to hang. If you are mounting your sign on a wall, you will need one of our wall mounting kits and if you are hanging the sign, you will need our hanging kits (both of which are provided free of charge when you purchase the sign from us). Please see instructions below on how to hang your signs.

Our signs are hand-made using silicone LED neon flex on an acrylic backing. We do not use any hazardous substances such as mercury, neon or glass.

Yes we do indeed! Our plug-in electric sign dimmer comes with a remote that offers a range of brightness levels along with an on and off option and party modes that make your sign flash, flicker and pulse. These can be purchased at a cost of £20.00.

Our signs start at 40cm for the pre-made designs and 50cm for the custom design option. Our width measurements are based on the size of the neon itself (not including the acrylic backing) at its widest point. For designs that just have text, the height will vary depending on the width and font you choose (some fonts are taller than others). Here is an approximate guide: 50cm width = 15-20cm tall 75cm width = 20-25cm tall 100cm width = 30-35cm tall 150cm width = 45-55cm tall 175cm width = 50-60cm tall 200cm width = 60-70cm tall Here are a couple of visual aids to help you with the sizes:

Lightz 'n' Bitz signs have a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours. This works out around 17 years in total, if the sign was illuminated for 8 hours every single day! Crazy right?!

Our signs are mounted on a clear acrylic board, the board can either be cut to shape or cut to square, please see examples of both these options below. For script/calligraphy style fonts, we would recommend the cut to shape option and for blocked fonts we would recommend the cut to square option.

We are very proud to offer FREE SHIPPING to UK mainland via ParcelForce. Your order is delivered in strong and resistant box and shipped to the shipping address you provide us with once you have ordered. We require your email address and phone number to ensure you are kept up to date on your delivery. The usual delivery times are 48 hours from when it leaves us however, this isn’t guaranteed.

All signs are custom-made to order, and once payment has been received, you can usually expect to receive your neon sign within 14 to 21 days. We always keep you updated on the status of your sign, and you will receive updates via email as soon as it leaves us.

Of course! We offer a full warranty of up to 18 months on all purchases. In the vary rare occasion of anything going wrong after this period, please let us know and we will be happy to help you.

Due to our signs being custom-made to order we are unable to offer refunds if you change your mind on your sign. As soon as the payment is received, our signs go into production so no refunds will be offered after this point. In the very rare occasion that there is a fault with your sign, we will always ensure to resolve the issue and may fix, replace, refund, or partially refund the product. The final resolution for faulty products, including refunds for the cost of the product and/or shipping, is decided on a case-by-case basis by Lightz ‘n’ Bitz and is dependant on the source of the fault.

In the very rare occasion that your sign has defects or arrives damaged/broken - please follow the step below: Send images of the sign including a short description of the issue to us via email info@lightznbitz.co.uk We will then review the issue and once we have verified the mistake, we can reproduce the neon sign. Please note - you have 10 days from receiving your neon sign to file the complaint.
